DeSantis was my candidate but he proved not the best campaigner.
Because DeSantis is a Navy Seal he is tough, he is bright, he is a common sense conservative and he is a patriot. After family and God, he puts America first. He also is young, has been, and will return to being, an amazing governor and was wise to know when he could not win.
Consequently, Trump is back to calling him DeSantis and not "DeSanctimonious." Why? Because Trump knows he must unify the GOP and the nation, rid us of the dangerous insanity Obama caused and the disaster Biden is and will continue to be as matters worsen.
In order for Trump to govern effectively, he must win large pluralities in both houses and he and the GOP Party, if they too are smart, must come together as the "Happy Party."
I picked up early hateful Democrats and anti-Trumpers were out of touch with reality and wrote frequently Americans do not cotton to bullies. I believed their insane, mean spirited efforts, to bring law suit after law suit, was going to boomerang. Why? Because they were overboard, unfair and eventually became despicable and their unconstitutional efforts will plateau.
That said, after yesterday's 5 to 4 SCOTUS decision, I fear Roberts and our turncoat Justice have gone off the rails of common sense.
Tomorrow night, against all rational odds and predictions, Trump should win in New Hampshire even though Democrats and Trump haters are allowed to switch their votes to Republicans. Haley's continuance, as a lone opponent, could upset the applecart even further but in her own state of South Carolina she should get a "whooping" if polls are correct, as I believe they are.
Deplorables, along with middle roaders, who love this country, have every right to be concerned our republic is going downhill fast. Maybe irretrievably so and, like the two Navy Seals, Biden just sent to their deaths, on a virtually impossible mission, time is ebbing quickly.
I believe most Trump Haters will not change. Certainly, D.C elitists will not because retaining power is all they care about and, if you do not accept this comment, I urge you read both Mark Levin and Sen. Cruz's latest books. Not only does the radical wing of the Democrat Party hate America but another radical fringe of "Woker's" are cultural Marxists and feel and act likewise.
I spent a lifetime as an investment person and began writing my dire thoughts in 1960. Consequently, it was crucial I become more right than wrong when it came to stock selection and trying to project the impact of coming trends on portfolios.
Lamentably, much of what I feared has come to pass, ie. crushing federal debt, deflating inflation, unions outliving their initial purpose, corporate capitalism corruption, politicians becoming permanently imbedded in office while losing sight of their sworn obligations, The Great Society flopping because Democrats disregarded Sen. Moynihan, black voters destroying their family structure as brainless recipients of government "dole" and retrogressive legislation.
Even Dr. Spock's ideas were nonsense and the list of my concerns became higher and higher. In time, if you wanted to predict Wall Street, you first had to visit D.C.
I believe President Wilson and FDR's flirtation with Socialism laid the keel of our sinking ship and Obama warned us he wanted to transform America but we would not listen because of misplaced white guilt so the ship of state took on more water.
Now Muslims/Islamists are procreating at overwhelming numbers. "fertility rates" are a far more accurate predictor than economics.
To sustain a culture the rate must not drop below 2.11. Except for Hispanic growth, America is below this rate.

In recent years, we’ve seen how Democrats struggled to run their cities. Many reports have revealed how major U.S. cities are crumbling, thanks to extreme, progressive policies. Crime is on the rise, homelessness is out of control, and people are fleeing.
But there is one crisis that seems to be worse than all the others. And it is one that many consider to be the easiest to solve.
In the blue city of Chicago, the recently-elected mayor has failed to properly deal with this problem. Some residents are even suing his administration over his decisions. But now, it looks like the pressure of leading has sent him to the hospital.

Two Chicago journalists reported that Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has become so “stressed out” that he was hospitalized for panic attacks. John Kass and Anita Padilla broke the news on WGN-AM’s Chicago Way Podcast on January 16, saying that Johnson needed medical help due to increasing stress.
They were talking about the illegal immigrant problem on air when Kass said “No amount of anti-depressants can cure him of this problem.”…
“…told me, two sources told me that he has been in the hospital for these panic attacks. And he is stressed out because this is a big, big job for him.”
According to two Chicago reporters, Mayor Brandon Johnson has been hospitalized over panic attacks associated with the migrant crisis. Chicago, like New York and other cities, has been receiving migrants bused up from the Southern border.
Some of these cities now have over 100,000 migrants—who require housing, food, clothing, and other accommodations. According to reports, few of these migrants are willing to take the jobs offered them, despite being the reason Democrats claimed they jumped the border.
Mayor Johnson, like other Democrat mayors, has called for the federal government to provide more tax dollars to address the situation. Like other Democrats, Johnson has refused to deport illegal aliens, nor has he called for President Biden to close the border.
The stress of not doing his job seems to have put Johnson in the hospital. Johnson took over as mayor after voters rejected former Mayor Lori Lightfoot. Lightfoot was dragged for Chicago’s crime explosion. However, it does not appear as if she had to be hospitalized for panic attacks.

This news does not make Johnson sound fit for the job—a common problem among elected Democrats. Perhaps Chicago voters need to recall him and find someone else.
