Is it time to crack some heads and the first head should be that of de Blasio's.? Is it also time to throw the book at those who are found guilty of destruction, looting, marauding and whatever else you want to call anarchistic behaviour? Maybe we should borrow a few tanks from China. These thugs will not stop voluntarily. They want to be seen on TV as being abused while against the national guard.. It serves their propaganda desires.
When are Republicans going to speak out? Romney is always criticizing Trump, perhaps he should tighten his belt and speak out about terrorism. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The new attack on Trump is that he has no plan. Yesterday, Peggy Noonan, in her op ed, berated Trump and John Bolton wrote a book calling attention to Trump's failures in the planning department.
Perhaps, in today's climate announcing a plan is counterproductive and gives your adversary ammunition to thwart same. Perhaps it is best to look at one's "history." You remember that word don't you?
Biden's history is replete with poor choice selections. He favored busing which proved a disaster. He supported a housing policy that destroyed families. He also backed GW's Iraq War, enthusiastically supported ObamaCare and the list is replete with counterproductive and poor decision making.
As for Trump, we know he seeks unorthodox methods to solve lingering problems. That seems to be his history. Remember the story about New York calling upon him to solve an ice rink construction cost over run issue which he resolved by relying upon how Canada built them? Trump seems to embrace practical solutions unlike Rube Goldberg and government bureaucrats.
We know Trump wants to rebuild our military, solve health coverage, has already offered some police reform solutions, seeks to reduce our profile of stationing troops all over the world risking their lives in no win situations etc. In some cases his solutions have worked, in others they have not but overall he has been quite effective like reducing the flow into our nation of illegal immigrants for which he has been soundly criticized and his reduction of the opiod epidemic which is no longer discussed because it proved successful and allowing America to become the world's largest oil and gas producer. He accomplished the latter by lowering/eliminating Obama and Biden's's restrictions against energy innovation.
Yes, when it comes to future plans perhaps the most revealing evidence/insight is past history and in the current setting too much revelation can be counterproductive. For better or worse, Trump likes to keep adversaries guessing and yet the Trump Haters must have gained insights and knowledge about his plans because they constantly berated him for what he says/tweets yet never does.
