For those who did not hear this when I posted in a previous memo.
Our son was invited, as a guest on Matt Rodak’s podcast (CEO of Fund That Flip) last Thursday, to make a presentation from an organization engaged in financing Atlas Enterprise's rehabilitation effort in Beach View. (A community that sits above Pittsburgh.)

Omar continues to heap praise upon radicals and assorted terrorists. She obviously came to America to use freedom of speech to spout her radical views.
She and her kind do not wish to assimilate. They have every intention of changing/reforming America, because we do not conform to the dictates of their religion. In their eyes, we remain a colonialist government with an oppressive past.
The president who allowed so many of her kind to enter said he would transform America and most failed to believe him because to impute an evil intent was considered racist.
There is always a price to be paid. (See 3a below.)

1) Turkey and the EU: A Doomed Engagement
by Burak Bekdil
Two decades ago, the big question in Brussels and Ankara was, "Will Turkey one day become a full member of the EU?" A decade ago, it was, "How soon can Turkey become a full member?" Today, the question is simpler: "Will it be Turkey or the EU that puts an official end to this opera buffa?"
In March, the European Parliament forcefully reminded the West's Turkey hopefuls that they are wrong. In a non-binding vote, the assembly recommended to suspend accession negotiations with Turkey (370 votes in favor, 109 against with 143 abstentions.) An EU press release after high-level talks with Turkey in Brussels confirmed that accession talks were at a standstill and said that the "Turkish government's stated commitment to EU accession needs to be matched by corresponding reforms."
The European Parliament said:
[R]espect for the rule of law and fundamental rights, including the separation of powers, democracy, freedom of expression and the media, human rights, the rights of minorities and religious freedom, freedom of association and the right to peaceful protest, the fight against corruption and the fight against racism and discrimination against vulnerable groups are at the core of the negotiation process.
...
Alparslan Kavaklıoğlu a member of Erdoğan's AKP and head of the parliament's Security and Intelligence Commission, said in 2018: "Europe will be Muslim. We will be effective there, Allah willing. I am sure of that."
The EU and Turkey each have their own interest in endlessly prolonging this opera buffa. But the audience is growing increasingly bored.

2) White House Hopeful Caught Running Ads in Mexico
The floundering presidential aspirations of Beto O’Rourke has led the progressive Democrat to reach out on social media to Mexicans – on the other side of the border. (Washington Examiner)
Facebook has for the past year allowed users to see, using the “info and ads” tab, where a group is targeting its sponsored posts. A screenshot of O’Rourke’s page captured by the Washington Free Beacon last Friday revealed he was paying to have certain posts viewed by Facebook users in Mexico.Among the posts O’Rourke paid to blast out to Mexican users was an invitation to his Tuesday campaign stop at the Jacobs Center in San Diego, Calif. The details are posted on the event page in both English and Spanish. The O’Rourke campaign did not respond to a request for comment on the Mexican advertising. A Monday review of his campaign’s Facebook page found it was no longer advertising in Mexico. It is unclear why O’Rourke is running ads in Mexico for his campaign to be president of the United States. There is a Democrats Abroad primary that will be held next March, but O’Rourke has made no mention of it thus far on the campaign trail.
None of the other 20 candidates in the Democratic presidential primary are running ads in Mexico

Omar Heaps Praise on Infamous Terrorist [WATCH]
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has had another particularly revealing comment, heaping praise on a communist and terrorist who once appeared on the FBI's 10 most wanted list.
RedState reports:
Even past that portion of her life, her political views are toxic enough that it’s jarring to see a Congressional member praise her. She’s a supporter of the rabidly anti-Semitic “Nation of Islam” and routinely defends Louise Farrakhan. Her support of the Soviet Union and its brutal tactics is also not hypothetical or exaggerated. Davis publicly and proudly supported the communist dictatorship, including pronouncing that Jews being thrown in prison “deserved what they get.” Davis has rarely found a totalitarian that she didn’t support. [emphasis mine]If you watch the video, you see Omar tearing up as she describes Angela Davis as an “idol” and proclaims her an inspiration in her life.
Just who is Angela Davis? She’s a rabid anti-Semite, a communist who supported the Soviet Union, and aided a terrorist plot.
Davis was a member of the Black Panther Party during the 60s and 70s, where she purchased guns used to murder a judge. She eventually fled and made it on the FBI’s 10 most wanted list. While she was found not guilty of the actual killing in the end after lots of legal gyrations, there was never any doubt she knew about and helped the domestic terrorist plot.
Throughout her career, Davis has praised authoritarian regimes and cults, including Cuba, the Soviet Union, and Jim Jones' Jonestown.
