I have now listened to some of the Trump interviews and press conference comments.
Perhaps Trump went beyond what was necessary to try and create a better playing field going forward between Russia and America and Putin and himself
Trump is trying to walk the extra mile to lessen the chance of conflict and all presidents have done so in different ways. All have not been successful either.
We know the senior members of the Obama Intelligence agencies hate Trump, most were Obama appointees and have been critical of Trump after the presidential election and several have even lied.
Once again the mass media and assorted Democrats have gone nutty in their criticism.
Putin has serious issues with the way he perceives the West has treated Russia because he has some serious resentments based on his own insecurities. Putin is a thug, Trump knows he is a thug so I assume he is struggling to have a realistic relationship with a thug because Trump took an oath to defend America and that seems to be what he has begun from day one - more money to rebuild our military, raising military salaries, rebuilding the VA and sending clear messages and following through with actions.
I find this refreshing and I understand policy differences that are rational as opposed to being hysterical. I am confident Bolton and Pompeo will keep Trump on track against those who hate Trump and find everything he does needs enlists personal smears, accusations of impeachment and calls of the betrayal of America.
Trump inherited a mess and is trying his way of working through this full plate of failures on the part of predecessors.
Apparently the august NYT's does believe Trump and Putin are lovers. I knew it was only time before someone sent my tongue in cheek e mail to them and they would pick this up and make their own comment.
