Trump told the Democrats what he wanted regarding DACA - money for a wall, be selective on future legal immigration and he would allow DACA illegals to get a pathway to citizenship along with their immediate family.
Apparently, Democrats realized this would take away another campaign issue before the 2018 election and allow Trump to appear willing to compromise so they have stiffed him.
With respect to new gun laws Trump said he believed it was rational to eliminate the ability to turn a legal weapon into one more lethal , he wanted to address the issue of the mentally unbalanced to be able to buy weapons and would be willing to tighten background checks for purchasing gun s.
Of course the recent assassination was not due to the weapon but to the failure of various government agencies, including The FBI, doing their job.
So more laws are not the answer but enforcing the ones we already on the books.
Once again, Democrats are stiffing Trump by yelling about The NRA which is their perennial whipping boy. So far no murders have been caused by NRA members who are trained in the use of weapons etc.
Planned Parenthood and various Unions heavily support Democrats but no one is calling for them to be closed.
Schumer has continued to block well over 400 various Trump nominations by citing obscure Senate Rules.
Democrats are interested in only two things: taking The House in 2018 so they can then bring impeachment charges.
What most ticks off those who hate Trump are: his personality, being one of the few presidents who has tried to live up to and act upon his campaign promises, his inane twitting and, most of all, his willingness to fight back.

Trump meets with Bolton.
I have always maintained Bolton should be a part of Trump's Administration and now I believe the opportunity for that occurring has improved.
The most appropriate position for Bolton would be Trump's designated State Department negotiator with N Korea, if such takes place. He is neither a softee nor a gullible pushover like most in The State Department. (See 1 below.)
Recently, I sought Trey Gowdy to be the SIRC's 2019 PDD speaker and he said he was not accepting speaking engagements after he leaves Congress.
Either Gowdy will change his mind or is likely to be appointed to a judgeship or some other judicial appointment. I would love for him to replace Sessions and/or become Trump's next Supreme Court pick if Trump has the opportunity. Gowdy has youth, experience and possesses a judicial temperament. Most of all, he has read the Constitution and understands what it says.

1) On Tuesday, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton met with President Trump.
Trump is seemingly ready to jettison the Iran nuclear deal, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated at the AIPAC conference on Tuesday. Netanyahu said, “President Trump has made it clear that his administration will not accept Iran's aggression in the region. The President has also made it clear that the flaws of the nuclear deal are not fixed, he will walk away from the deal and restore sanctions."
Bolton is considered a true hawk on foreign policy; he has served as Assistant Secretary for International Organization Affairs at the State Department from 1989-1993, where he coordinated the effort to rescind the United Nations resolution from the 1970s that equated Zionism with racism, and also was key in the efforts of the U.S. Mission to obtain U.N. resolutions endorsing the use of force to fight Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait. Between 1985-1989 he served as Assistant Attorney General at the Department of Justice.

Iran has tripled its production of missiles, commander of the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Amir Ali Hajizadeh said to the Islamic Republic News Agency. This forceful rhetoric comes as a response to US President Donald Trump’s threat to withdraw from the Iran nuclear agreement.
“In the past, we had to justify our operations to many organizations, but this is no longer the case,” continued Hajizadeh. He further said that Iran has fulfilled its needs for land-to-land missiles and that the entire process was approved by the government.
Just two days ago, the French Foreign Minister visited Iran. He was told that American belligerence in the region will not stop Iran’s missile program. Furthermore, an official in Iran’s nuclear program said that if the United States leaves the nuclear agreement, Iran will begin enriching uranium again.
In February 2018, Islamic Revolution Guard Corps Deputy Commander Hossein Salami said that Iran’s missile capabilities will not be negotiated with any world power.
