Lying like rope can hang you. Is Politically Correct Nonsense Boomeranging? Florida-stan!

===

A little potential charge of lying can go a long way - but never to jail when the queen is involved.  (See 1 below.)
===
Anarchists on college campuses are now attacking liberals.  What goes around eventually comes around.

Teach them free speech is only for a chosen few and, you know, it can all boomerang back on you.  "But what difference does it make." (See 2 below.)

I have warned for years that, among other idiocies facing our nation, there would  be dire consequences as a result of  liberals and progressives pushing for, political correctness and government guaranteed college loans.

Once you began something insane it spreads.  Political correctness has spilled over the banks and will drown us all if not contained, no killed. Political correctness has now begun to rip the fabric of our freedoms and democracy.

As for college loans, once the government guaranteed them and made them available, colleges began to be flooded with students.  Many of these students were in for a free ride and many were not suited for college. Furthermore, colleges began to raise tuition costs and now their debt is over one trillion dollars. Meanwhile, curriculum's have gone soft and students can no longer pay off the loans.  So what are many now demanding?  You guessed it - amnesty and debt forgiveness.

The Mayor of London told the truth and that caused him to be dis-invited.

Coddling those who hate only prolongs the agony about which appeasers complain.

When the Western World wusses start treating Palestinians as they are due to be treated and quit funding their hatred reality will eventually force them to do what everyone is waiting to happen. Until then the problem of the Palestinian Israeli divide will fester and random Intifadas and rocket wars will occur. (See 3 below.)

Obama ever the fool. (See 3a below.)

This from a dear long time friend and fellow memo reader: "

SADLY, YOUNG PEOPLE CANNOT LEARN FROM HISTORY ANY MORE BECAUSE HISTORY
IS NO LONGER TAUGHT AS A REQUIRED SUBJECT IN PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOLS.

Theodore "Dutch" J. Van Kirk was the navigator on the "Enola Gay" when
it dropped the bomb at Hiroshima, Japan, and is the last surviving member
of the crew.

This really happened.

Dutch was asked to speak at a grammar school this past week.

The young teacher introduced him by saying the speaker was a veteran of
World War Eleven (as in WWII).

Dutch  stood up and walked out of the school without saying a word.

End of  story.

FBI Probe of Hillary Clinton Expands Again: New

Potential Felonies Over False Statements
By Katie Pavlich

As reported earlier this week, the FBI probe of Democrat presidential front runner and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server has expanded. Today, the FBI is further expanding its investigation by putting Clinton under the microscope for potentially violating a federal false statements statute, a felony offense. More from Fox News
The FBI has expanded its probe of Hillary Clinton's emails, with agents exploring whether multiple statements violate a federal false statements statute, according to intelligence sources familiar with the ongoing case.

Fox News is told agents are looking at U.S. Code 18, Section 1001, whichpertains to "materially false" statements given either in writing, orally or through a third party. Violations also include pressuring a third party to conspire in a cover-up. Each felony violation is subject to five years in prison.

"The agents involved are under a lot of pressure and are busting a--," an intelligence source, who was not authorized to speak on the record, told Fox News.

The section of the criminal code being explored is known as "statements or entries generally," and can be applied when an individual makes misleading or false statements causing federal agents to expend additional resources and time.

A few things here. First, up to this point Team Hillary and her liberal supporters have knocked Republicans for focusing on her private email use. The FBI's new exploration of Clinton's potentially and deliberately false statements not only expands the probe, but brings the investigation to a whole new level. It's going to be even more difficult now for Clinton and her campaign to argue this is simply about emails, when in fact the probe includes Clinton's lies. Second, the cover up portion of this is huge. We already know Clinton went out of her way to delete at least 40,000 emails off her private server that she deemed "personal," and we also know her closest aides, including Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills, are also being closely looked at by Congress and the FBI for potential destruction of evidence. Don't forget Clinton's claims that she turned all required documentation and email over the to the State Department when in fact, she did not. Third, considering the top three words voters use to describe Clinton are liar, dishonest and untrustworthy, this expansion will do her no political favors with the American people.

Finally, the expansion of the FBI probe creates a bigger chance for an indictment not for only hosting classified information on a private server, but for lying to investigators in an effort to cover up wrongdoing.

University of Minnesota Rejects 9/11 Remembrance Because it Might Incite Racism

Christine Rousselle

Here's another instance of political correctness on a college campus going a smidge too far, courtesy of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities: A proposed resolution to recognize the 9/11 terrorist attacks on campus each year was rejected by the Minnesota Student Association as it may potentially violate a "safe space" on campus.
From Campus Reform:
“This resolution was non-controversial and was supported by the MSA’s President and Vice-President,” said Amundson, “However, several members, in exchanges with CRs rep Theo Menon, were militant in their opposition to it due to a perceived bias toward Muslims.”
Other proponents of the resolution argued in forum that its passage could bring up controversial topics, and that a healthy dialogue and campus tension reduction would ensue from the moment of recognition.
At-large MSA representative and Director of Diversity and Inclusion David Algadi voiced severe criticism of the resolution. He also made sure to emphasize 9/11’s status as a national tragedy in his response.
“The passing of this resolution might make a space that is unsafe for students on campus even more unsafe,” said Algadi, “Islamophobia and racism fueled through that are alive and well.”
Algadi added that holding a moment of recognition over a tragedy committed by non-white perpetrators could increase racist attitudes on campus, asking, “When will we start having moments of silence for all of the times white folks have done something terrible?

Welcome to college in 2015, where it's somehow problematic to acknowledge and remember victims of a terrorist attack. (While many schools participate in some form of the Young America's Foundation's 9/11: Never Forget Project, there were no such memorials on the U's campus.)

To play devil's advocate, today's entering freshmen class was born in 1997 and likely doesn't remember the September 11 attacks. Still, this doesn't excuse the rejection of a resolution to remember the day that nearly 3,000 innocent people were murdered. It is not Islamophobic or racist to pause and reflect on a day that fundamentally changed the country. If 3,000 people were killed in attack committed by white militant Presbyterians (or some other denomination), there would still be nationwide shock, outrage, sadness, and remembrance on the anniversary of the date. The victims of 9/11 aren't remembered because they were killed by Muslims--they are remembered because they were killed by terrorists, who happened to be Muslim.

As college students get older, fewer and fewer of them will have been old enough to remember the attacks. This is why it's more important than ever to establish some kind of annual memorial or remembrance ceremony.

3) Boris Johnson in Israel

The London mayor is a little too honest for the West Bank.

Boris Johnson got himself disinvited from several events in the West Bank this week. More’s the pity in a region that needs the sort of truth-telling with which the London mayor caused such a stir.

On a visit meant to boost trade ties with Britain, Mr. Johnson sought to reassure Israelis that the long-running boycott, divest and sanction movement against Israel in the West is not a majority position:

“I cannot think of anything more foolish than to say that you want to have any kind of divestment, sanctions or boycott against a country that, when all is said or done, is the only democracy in the region, is the only place that has in my view a pluralist, open society. Why boycott Israel?”

“And by the way,” he continued, “I think there’s some misunderstanding over here [in Israel] about it. The supporters of this so-called boycott are really just a bunch of corduroy-jacketed . . . lefty academics who have no real standing in the matter and I think are highly unlikely to be influential on Britain.”

This was too much for the Palestinian charities that pulled the plug on meetings with him later in the week. The Sharek Youth Forum canceled Mr. Johnson’s visit, describing his remarks as an “inaccurate, misinformed, and disrespectful statement” that “fails to acknowledge our very existence as Palestinians,” according to the Independent newspaper. Several other sessions were dropped as well.

The best we can say for these groups is that they might have been intimidated into shunning him for fear of running afoul of Palestinian political enforcers. More likely, they’re as infected with the kind of mindless hatred for Israel and its supporters that explains their own economic backwardness. Either way, the episode reinforces Mr. Johnson’s point about the virtue of defending the rare bastion of liberal values in the Middle East.

3a)  Obama approves of EU labeling of Jewish products
Obama administration says labeling 'not a boycott,' because 'settlements aren't part of Israel,' and adds: 'we label too.'
By Ari Yashar

US President Barack Obama's administration on Thursday voiced its approval of the discriminatory EU decision the day before to label Jewish goods from Judea, Samaria, eastern Jerusalem and the Golan Heights.

The administration said the move is only a "technical guideline," and is not a boycott, reports Associated Press - despite the obvious assumption that consumers would follow the labeling when choosing what products to buy.
US State Department spokesperson Mark Toner said, "we do not believe that labeling the origin of products is equivalent to a boycott. And as you know, we do not consider settlements to be part of Israel. We do not view labeling the origin of products as being from the settlements as a boycott of Israel."

Despite Toner's words, an expert at NGO Monitor spoke to Arutz Sheva about the labeling on Wednesday, and revealed that the move is the first step in a planned total boycott of Israel based on the stated goals of the groups who brought about the labeling.

The US had been slightly vague before the decision by the EU, with Toner saying the US opposes boycotting Israel but that the EU's position "shouldn't come as a surprise" given Israel's continued presence in its Biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria.

But on Thursday, Toner said, "we understand the objective is to provide EU consumers correct information on the origin of products, as required by EU law. The EU has made clear that measures are not a boycott, and the EU has also made very clear that they oppose boycotts against Israel. EU guidelines for products that are sold in EU countries are for the EU to determine."

"These are technical guidelines delineating the origin of products. Consumers will then be aware of the origin of a product when purchasing it, as they are made aware for products across the globe," he said.

Toner went further by saying the US similarly labels imports from Judea and Samaria, noting such products must be marked "products of the West Bank," although there is no distinction between Jewish and Arab products as is the case with the EU.

Israel reacted by furiously pointing out the discriminatory nature of the EU labeling, with many noting that there are hundreds of territorial disputes around the globe which have not been targeted for labeling or boycotts by the EU, such as in Western Sahara, Tibet, and northern Cyprus.

Regarding the legal status of Israel's presence in Judea and Samaria, and consequentially of products from the region, the 2012 Levy Report proved that Israel's presence is legal according to international law.

However, despite being commissioned by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, two consecutive governments led by him have yet to adopt the findings of the report.
