You Decide!

===
Partisans and other assorted citizens who are either blind, deaf and/or dumb are outraged over Trump's over the board comments pertaining to our government's inability to vet potential terrorists. We now know the administration has with held information regarding terrorist attempts to enter our country with refugees etc.

I did not directly hear what Trump said beyond we must not allow Muslims into our nation until we understand how to vet them.  If he said anything else I am not aware of it. Some have attributed to him he also included American Muslims that were over seas and returning and that would be an Unconstitutional proposal.

He defended his position by citing what FDR did during WW 2. What FDR did was an unmitigated screw up and disaster but in the backdrop of Pearl Harbour the nation was ready to support anything.

Trump may be a loud mouth but I give him credit for running a campaign whereby he has made the dolts in our biased press and media pay for it. He has proven he can get things done and paid for by others.  I recall him making such a claim about the president of Mexico.  He also is anything but PC and that is a welcome and refreshing change.

I suspect he made his fortune by surrounding himself with talented and creative types and he probably listened to them though he may take all the credit.  I suspect,if nominated and elected, he would do the same running the country.

So Trump has some good things going for him. He is a successful business man, not a party type and no connections to anyone paying for his campaign.

I am not supporting Trump but, as I have said before, I would vote for anyone over Hillarious.

Some of Trumps negatives,  -  a loud mouth, brash and certainly does not act presidential but then I would rather have someone as president who has some guts because we are in need of someone who understands what American Character is all about and who is willing to stand up for our nation because we are at war with radical Muslims called ISIS and other runt terrorist groups.

Add up the positive and negatives and  I understand his appeal but I doubt he will become the Republican nominee and if he does I doubt he would be elected.  There are those who believe he is a foil for Hillarious. I doubt that as well but he is the best thing she has going for her.

I still believe seven years of Obama followed by four of Hillarious would be the coup de grace for our nation. (See 1 below.)

It really is amazing how so many have been willing to ignore the following:

Obama's speeches apologizing for our nation.

Obama's one sided handling and mucking up of the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations and his treatment of an ally and the only democracy in The Middle East

His peremptory withdrawal from Iraq which allowed ISIS to be formed

His disregard of the Red Lines he drew in Syria and an unwillingness to protect our borders when he totally had the votes and power to do so.

His lies about Benghazi

His constant failure to develop a winning strategy and his patronizing of radical Islamist terrorists

His inability to bring himself to lead our nation in the right direction because his every actions are determined by an ideology which has proven wrong headed and has led to a war he cannot admit we are fighting against an enemy he cannot and/or will not even define.

Now we have the problem, caused by his unwillingness to proceed in a balanced way, to heed warnings allowing a flood of improperly vetted refugees to come into our nation after the recent domestic terrorist event.

His arrogance at shoving an Iran Deal down our throats and utter disregard of Iran's contempt in adhering to its terms.

I have not enumerated the entire list of disconnects pertinent to his foreign policies but enough that beg an answer.

I understand it is not easy for partisans to admit mistakes because they are so caught up in their beliefs, political commitments and inability to place nation above their more narrow and selfish interests. They believe planned parent hood, gun control, police brutality take precedence over protecting our nation.  These may be serious concerns and need to be appropriately addressed and resolved but, as I have noted time and again, the first priority of government is to protect its citizenry. Without that, all other issues become irrelevant.

I am more than willing to be objective when it comes to what I believe is government's primal responsibility - protect our nation both from within and without.

I would love to have seen Obama succeed but he is an abject failure in virtually everything he has done or attempted to do and the nation is rightfully distraught and concerned because his leadership, if you can call it that, is leading us in the wrong direction and is uncharacteristic of who we are as a people.

I do not live in personal fear of terrorism though my wife believes one day I will be hacked to death because I have chosen to be outspoken.  I firmly believe living on your knees is not living and being silent means living in a lonely world. I have chosen neither and I would hope I have at least gotten some, who read my 'drivel,' to think about what I am saying and that is why I often end with "you decide." I will now add and speak out so you can be heard and perhaps have influence.

I play tennis with several who are totally partisan and spew their venom while everyone remains silent because they want to play tennis.  I understand but I just cannot allow their verbosity slide and I wish others would rebut rather than ignore in hope they will stop their diatribes.(See 2 below.)

1) On Monday, Rep. Mike McCaul (R-Tx.) released sections of a classified letter that the Obama Administration had been keeping under wraps.

Written by the National Counterterrorism Center, the letter states that “individuals with ties to terrorist groups in Syria [are] attempting to gain entry into the U.S. through the U.S. refugee program.”

This is the piece of intel that ought to immediately shut down Obama’s “deal” with the United Nations to bring thousands upon thousands of unvetted refugees from places like Syria into the United States.

After witnessing radicalized refugees take 130 lives in Paris, France – then to see still more lives taken by Radical Islam in our own San Bernardino, California – it is incumbent upon every member of the House and Senate to act in defense of our American Republic.

We’re convinced, members of the United States Congress need to hear from an outraged grassroots America if the flow of unvetted immigrants seeking “safety” in the United States is to be stopped.

Unless Congress acts, Obama’s deal with the United Nations is set to bring 100,000 refugees into the United States by the end of 2017!

With the hard facts revealed this week – that ISIS is seeking to co-opt the Obama's refugee resettlement program to infiltrate the United States – the time for action is now!

2)

At a hearing on Capitol Hill about the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ (IRGC) role in fueling terrorism and instability, Iran expert and Senior Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies Ali Alfoneh claimed that the Iranian regime has made “no serious military effort against the Islamic State” in Syria, as evidence builds that Iran and the Assad regime have actually strengthened the terrorist group. Alfoneh emphasized that the US and Iran drastically differ in their goals in the Middle East. While the US aims to defeat ISIS and facilitate a political transition in Syria, Alfoneh notes that for the IRGC, which seeks to preserve Assad’s rule, “it is fine that there is an enemy called the Islamic State that is not really threatening the existence of the Islamic Republic of Iran” because it allows Iran to present the Bashar al-Assad regime as a better alternative to and even a bulwark against ISIS. Meanwhile, Iran and the Assad regime have been targeting the moderate opposition to Assad which the West and its Arab allies hope will replace him.

Alfoneh’s comments correspond with those of Secretary of State John Kerry who has argued that the Assad regime and ISIS have a “symbiotic relationship” in that they have “only rarely targeted one another” and “even do business with each other." A study last year showed that the Assad regime has largely avoided targeting ISIS. The U.S. Department of State has even accused the Syrian regime of conducting air strikes in support of ISIS’s advance on Aleppo in order to weaken moderate Syrian rebels located there. Assad’s regime also helps finance ISIS by buying oil from it. Last week the Treasury Department sanctioned an Assad loyalist who facilitates the Syrian regime’s purchase of oil from the Islamic State.

Iran wields extensive influence in Syria and has increased its involvement in the war, sending thousands of Iranian troops as well as Hezbollah, Afghani, and Pakistani fighters to assist Assad. The Iranian regime has repeatedly issued statements condemning ISIS and considers the group heretical. However, former US intelligence officer Michael Pregent created a map that illustrates that the ISIS center of gravity lies beyond Iran’s priority defensive boundary and therefore, he argues “Iran has no intent of defeating ISIS.”

3)The Sinister Difference Between "ISIS" and "ISIL"
_______________________________

Here is an explanation of the difference between the terms ISIS and ISIL.

I have been suspicious of the term ISIL to which the administration stubbornly clings.

ISIS = Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.  Iraq is to the east of Jordan (shaped like the hatchet) and Syria is to the north.

ISIL = Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.  Iraq is still to the east of Jordan, and “the Levant” is a term that comes from “the rising (of the sun, i.e., to the east)” - and is basically the land along the Mediterranean - that includes Lebanon, Israel, and those countries along there.

By saying ISIL, you “negate” Israel as its own country and lump it in with the rest of the countries along the Mediterranean - and Israel sort of disappears (loses its sovereignty) and becomes part of “the Levant ” - which is therefore part of ISIL.

If you've wondered, as I have, why all government agencies and especially BHO calls it ISIL and even spells it out every time it's used, instead of ISIS as the rest of the world here's the answer.

Decoding Obama’s speech reveals some startling revelations.

In one press conference after another, when referring to the Muslim terror super-group ISIS, United States President Barack Obama will use the term ISIL, instead of their former name ISIS, or current name Islamic State.

Have you ever wondered about that?  Here is the difference:

What makes up the near exact center of the Muslim Levant ?  Israel.
ISIL stands for the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant.

Now, to us Westerners we don't really make much of a distinction, do we?
No, honestly from our perspective it’s all about the same.  But how would a Muslim living in the Middle East view it?

Just what is the Levant anyway? Let’s take a look.

The geographical term LEVANT refers to a multi-nation region in the Middle East.  It’s a land bridge between Turkey to the north and Egypt to the south.

If you look on a map, however, in the near exact middle of the nations that comprise the Levant, guess what you see? Come on, guess!

It’s Israel.

****When Barack Obama refers over and over to the Islamic State as ISIL, he is sending a message to Muslims all over the Middle East, that he personally does not recognize Israel as a sovereign nation, but as territory belonging to the Islamic State.

Now you know why Obama says that he has no plan, no goal, and no stated aim for dealing with ISIS.  But he does have a plan, and it’s a really nasty, diabolical one.  Obama’s plan is to drag his feet for as long as he can, doing only the bare minimum that Congress forces him to do.  His plan to buy ISIL as much time as possible to make as many gains as they can.

Listen as Obama and his press secretary and the spokesperson for the State Department and his Joint Chiefs of Staff painstakingly spells out the letters I-S-I-L so there is no doubt in your mind.

And it’s working.

The Islamic State has garnered millions of dollars, a vast cache of weapons, and in their latest foray have captured Syrian fighter jets and now 12 commercial passenger planes.  With each passing day that Obama fulfills his stated aim of doing nothing, the Islamic State grows by leaps and bounds. The ultimate goal, of course, has not changed and will never change.

The ultimate goal is the destruction of Israel.

Now you know a little bit more about why Obama chooses his words so carefully.

"A Jew who voted for Obama, and still would,  is like a chicken who would vote for Col. Sanders."  The same can be said for any American.

4) Egypt finds Gaza's first iron attack tunnel

Egyptian security sources revealed on Friday that they found an iron underground attack tunnel leading from Gaza into Sinai, marking the first time that such a tunnel has been unearthed.
The find came as part of Egypt's long-standing operation that began in October 2014 to create a massive buffer zone in southern Gaza. The operation has involved occupying a large swath of land at least one kilometer deep (over half a mile) along the 14-kilometer (9-mile) border, evicting thousands of Gazans, destroying their homes and mosques, and recently even creating a border moat.
Now as part of its work destroying hundreds of smuggling tunnels, the Egyptian army came across the first iron one, which lay at a depth of ten meters (33 feet) according to Egyptian sources quoted by the Palestinian Arab Ma'an News Agency.
The tunnel was found north of the Rafiah Crossing, and was summarily detonated with massive amounts of explosives.
According to the sources, the tunnel was discovered as the army was flooding the border area with sea water. The water was not absorbed into the ground due to some sort of blockage that did not allow it to penetrate, raising the army's suspicions.
Quickly the Egyptian engineering corps dug down and found the iron tunnel, which featured iron walls at a thickness of 40 centimeter (16 inches) – a construction feat that must have been particularly expensive.
The tunnel extended roughly 200 meters (over 650 feet) into Egyptian territory, and was still in the process of being constructed. On the Gazan side of the border, the tunnel stretched 70 meters (230 feet).
Egyptian intelligence services indicate there are an estimated 17 iron tunnels from Gaza to Sinai, and they are meant for “resistance” – namely for Hamas and other terrorist organizations to attack the Egyptian buffer zone project.

The Egyptian Masrawy news portal cited senior Egyptian security sources saying Hamas has allocated large funds to construct iron tunnels, and that the funding comes from Qatar.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended Israel’s policies, which are dictated by reality, and refuted misguided statements made by US Secretary of State John Kerry and Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom.
Prime Minister Benjamin rebuffed an attack by US Secretary of State John Kerry on Israeli policies regarding the peace process, saying that while Israel sought peace, it had no partner.
“I would like to make it clear – Israel will not be a bi-national state,” said Netanyahu during the weekly Cabinet meeting, responding to a warning by Kerry that Israel was on its way to losing its Jewish and democratic identity because of the stalwart peace process.
“But in order for there to be peace, the other side needs to decide that it also wants peace,” the premier clarified. “To my regret, this is not what we see. First of all, the Palestinian Authority incitement is continuing – it must stop. And I see the senior Palestinian official in charge of the negotiations going to console the family of a terrorist who tried to murder Jews. Not only does he not condemn it, he goes to offer condolences and thereby gives backing and encouragement to acts of terrorism.”
Netanyahu was referring to chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat who over the weekend visited the home of a Palestinian terrorist who was shot while committing a terror attack on Thursday.
Likewise, incitement by the Palestinian leadership has generated a wave of terror attacks, which has claimed the lives of 21 victims and wounded scores in the past two and a half months.
“Whoever wants peace needs to condemn these things unequivocally, just as I am doing here,” Netanyahu demanded.
He also condemned the Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom’s “scandalous remarks” after she accused Israel of “extrajudicial executions” of supposedly innocent Palestinians, who were in fact terrorists killed while committing terror attacks.
“Apparently she expects Israelis to offer their necks to whoever wants to stab them. This will not happen and we will continue to defend the lives of Israel’s citizens,” he retorted.
Kerry delivered a harsh speech on Saturday in which he warned Israel about the dangers of the possible collapse of the Palestinian Authority (PA), saying it would lead to a situation that would threaten the security of Israel and the Palestinian people.
“The one-state solution is no solution at all for a secure, Jewish, democratic Israel living in peace, it is simply not a viable option,” Kerry said.
