Russia continues to bomb our supposed allies in Syria which we failed to arm because Obama is confused as to how to be strong.

"Put-in" knows how to talk and bomb at the same time and Obama only knows how to talk while he  has put America in the position of asking  of Russia 'pretty please' what will you allow us to do in Syria?

Meanwhile, Obama threatens to veto the arms bill because of certain labeling that offends our feckless and pathetic leader.

I do not agree with his decision because I believe he headed into a bigger storm but I understand his feelings.

There is no easy solution to the gun control issue and probably no rational solution because if you disarm honest citizens you turn them into prey and make them vulnerable to those with evil intent.

The best we can and should do is implement a program of legitimate background checks, not for the purpose of harassment but for identification, and let it go at that.

Individuals could try and become a bit more suspect if they notice strange behaviour but if they report same they are subject to a law suit so 'ratting' carries financial risks and we must avoid becoming  a nation of squealing pigs and informers.  We know how whistle blowers are treated and dehumanized by authorities.

In the final analysis we have to suck it up, recognize we are a gun toting society and were from our founding and Frontier Days.

Gun control, like climate change and other hot buttons has become the basis for whipping up discord and using them to divide while adding little light and plenty of heat. Obama has admitted to politicization of the matter - need I say more. (See 1 below.)
