I listened to a fascinating analysis by David Wurmser - Senior Analyst of Director of The Project on Antisemitism and the US-Israel Relationship.
He discussed the implications of America's withdrawal and what that means not only for Israel, but the Saudi's as well as the Iranian's. Israel is being surrounded by Iran at a time when the Mullah's power is cracking yet, Israel's military and existential position is serious/perilous and uncertain. It also comes at a time when Israel is also confused about what it wants to be as a nation. Finally, it also is occurring as China emerges as a force supplanting America's retreat.
Wurmser believes, though Israel is not united at this time, it will come together if survival becomes the challenge.
He also thinks the negative implications of OSLO are resurfacing at a time when Israel is under a serious threat that is dividing the country as it seek to define it's future.
Many years ago, when I lived in Atlanta, I argued with my, Rabbi, who was then very pro Oslo, that he was not only wrong but that Oslo would surface and prove a disaster because Arafat could not be trusted and the attitude of The Palestinians, towards Israelis, had not truly changed and Israel's ultimate destruction remained The Palestinian's ultimate goal.
It is not politically healthy that, at this time, Israeli's are mistakenly debating the fact Israel is a democracy.

IDF refuses to confirm ceasefire reached with Gaza terrorists.
In response to the launching of 104 rockets from the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip towards Israel from Tuesday afternoon through early Wednesday morning, the IDF attacked additional targets in the Gaza Strip before dawn Wednesday, including an underground terror tunnel, a site for storing combat equipment, military compounds, and a Hamas military position.
In addition, during the night, IDF tanks fired on Hamas military positions throughout the Gaza Strip. Furthermore, an IDF aircraft bombed a heavy weapon emplacement in the northern Gaza Strip from which gunfire was directed towards Israeli territory.
IDF spokesperson Brigadier General Daniel Hagari discussed the ceasefire in the south, telling reporters that 104 rockets had been fired from the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the latest round of fighting, of which 24 were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system, 48 fell in open areas, 11 landed in the sea, and 7 others are unknown.
He also referred to the rockets that hit a construction site in Sderot, injuring three foreign workers: "We have things to learn, and we have insights," and argued that contrary to reports, Iron Dome interceptor launches had a "90% success rate."
"Everything we wanted, we hit tonight - 16 Hamas targets, and underground positions of the Islamic Jihad," Hagari told Reshet Bet.
"Islamic Jihad fired the rockets, Hamas knew of it and allowed it. As far as we are concerned, [Hamas] is the sovereign power [in Gaza]."
Hagari refused to confirm whether Israel had agreed to a ceasefire.
"The messages that are being sent out and asking to stop [the fighting] are not official. The messages are not from us. We are in a sustained situation assessment and everything is on the table. We will act at the time and place of our choosing against Gaza. Soon we will also discuss opening the Kerem Shalom and Gaza crossings."

Sen Grassley is a national treasure and his retirement leaves American's exposed to more unanswered questions they are entitled to know the answers to but may never.
It is a true tragedy that key agencies of our government are run by scoundrels who hide, purely for political reasons, revealing information that have caused voters to lose faith in the government.
When interviewed, Grassley said he has seldom ever gotten what he subpoenaed because, if it unclassified, the agencies immediately classify what he is seeking and the game of stick the tail on the monkey begins. He has a constitutional duty but that does not stop the bureaucrats.

Sen. Grassley, Rep. Comer Demand FBI Record Alleging Criminal Scheme Involving Then-VP Biden

Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Chuck Grassley and House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer sent letters Wednesday to the FBI, calling on the bureau to produce an unclassified record of an alleged criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national.
The document in question is an FBI-generated FD-1023 form that allegedly shows an arrangement exchanging money for policy decisions. Comer issued a subpoena Wednesday after “legally protected disclosures” to Grassley’s office.
“We believe the FBI possesses an unclassified internal document that includes very serious and detailed allegations implicating the current President of the United States. What we don’t know is what, if anything, the FBI has done to verify these claims or investigate further. The FBI’s recent history of botching politically charged investigations demands close congressional oversight,” Grassley said in a statement.

Israeli start up's are having serious fund raising issues for a variety of reasons. They recently raised $17 billion down 70%.
Why?
a) over all world funding is soft as are economies..
b) Investors are concerned over Bibi's ability to govern.
c) Concern over resolution of Justice issue has caused concerns among investors
d) Though not publicly stated, I believe investors are also concerned about prospects that a war will break out resulting n serious infrastructure damage if not worse.
