Uppity.Beating China. Socialist/Racist. Park Maitland. WH Dingbat.

Just another day in the Oval Office

Biden is one uppity president. He has a habit of blaming everyone else.

An amazing 2 letter word in the English language.

An amazing 2 letter word in the English language. A reminder that one word in the English language that can be a noun, verb, adjective, adverb and preposition.

Read until the end ... you'll smile.

This two-letter word in English has more meanings than any other two-letter word, and that word is 'UP'.  It is listed in the dictionary as an [adv.], [prep.], [adj.], [n] or [v].

It's easy to understand UP, meaning toward the sky or at the top of the list, but when we awaken in the morning, why do we wake UP?

At a meeting, why does a topic come UP? Why do we speak UP, and why are the politicians UP for election and why is it UP to the secretary to write UP a report? We call UP our friends, brighten UP a room, polish UP the silver, warm UP the leftovers and clean UP the kitchen. We lock UP the house and fix UP the car.

At other times, this little word has real special meaning. People stir UP trouble, line UP for tickets, work UP an appetite, and think UP excuses.

To be dressed is one thing but to be dressed UP is special.

And this UP is confusing: A drain must be opened UP because it is blocked UP.

We open UP a store in the morning but we close it UP at night. We seem to be pretty mixed UP about UP!

To be knowledgeable about the proper uses of UP, look UP the word UP in the dictionary. In a desk-sized dictionary, it takes UP almost 1/4 of the page and can add UP to about thirty definitions.

If you are UP to it, you might try building UP a list of the many ways UP is used. It will take UP a lot of your time, but if you don't give UP, you may wind UP with a hundred or more.

When it threatens to rain, we say it is clouding UP. When the sun comes out, we say it is clearing UP. When it rains, the earth soaks it UP. When it does not rain for a while, things dry UP. One could go on and on, but I'll wrap it UP, for now . . . my time is UP!

Did this crack you UP?

Don't screw UP. Send this on to everyone you look UP in your address book . . . or not . . . it's UP to you.

Now I'll shut UP!

Just to close “ I AM FED UP."

And we are going to beat China?

A young black kid asks his mother, "Mama, what is Socialism and what is Racism?"

"Well, Child...Socialism is when the white folks work hard every day so we can get all our governmental entitlement stuff for free.

You know...like our free cell phones for each family member, rent subsidy, food stamps, EBT, WIC, free school breakfast, lunch,

and in some places supper; free healthcare, utility subsidy, and on and on...you know, that's Socialism."

"But, Mama, don't the white people get pissed off about that?"

"Sure they do, Honey. That's called Racism."

(Never was it more simply explained.)

  In the Park Maitland Auditorium

Join us for two special evenings of magic and wonder! Park Maitland School is proud to present the newest updates to the musical, Aladdin, on Tuesday, April 18th, and Wednesday, April 19th at 6:30 PM in the Park Maitland Auditorium.

The cast and crew have been working hard to bring this classic story to life with fresh, modern twists. From the stunning costumes to the incredible music, it's going to be an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to share it with you.

So mark your calendars and prepare for two magical evenings at the theater. We'll see you there!

Dear Park Maitland Families,

When Nell Cohen founded our school over 50 years ago, she created a learning institution with a renewed focus on areas of study that were being lost or replaced in other public or private schools. She was a champion, specifically, for the arts, and built a curriculum that provided students a schedule where they were able to fully immerse themselves in music, visual art, drama, and dance as part of each school day. In keeping with her legacy, Park Maitland has continued to put the arts front and center as an area for students to excel personally, gain valuable character development, inspire imagination, promote teamwork, and develop confidence. In the past year alone, we have evolved into performing our “big” show at the most state-of-the-art facility in Orlando, the Steinmetz Hall at the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center. We have added specialty middle school music, theatre, and visual art classes. We have created a competitive Junior Thespians troupe that performed in the superior category on both the district and state levels. We have purchased and installed new lighting equipment. We have added a new staff member with a specialty in vocal performance and teaching voice for the singer. We have added a fall middle school show to our line-up of productions. AND we have taken our production quality (set, lightning, microphones) to a whole new level. We are so proud of the growth we’ve made and excited to be providing each of your students not only opportunities but exceptional experiences by participating in our arts program.

All this, however, obviously comes at a cost. We have received so much support from so many generous, passionate individuals and we are extremely grateful. We’d like to continue to add funds to the coffer as we keep making improvements by charging a small fee for admission to our fifth grade show, Aladdin, Jr., this year. We realize this is new, but we hope that once you see the incredible world that we are able to create on stage with just this bit of extra funding, you will think it was well worth it. At just $10 a ticket, the cost is still very reasonable to bring out the whole family and yet it opens up so many more possibilities for what we can achieve.

There will be no assigned seating for the event, and we are not capping admission, so please invite any and all. You can purchase tickets ahead of time using the link below or you may purchase them at the door on the night of the show.

Thank you so much for your continued support and for giving your kids the gift of this experience.
This is the school Dagny and Blake go to. Dagny got the part in the play she wanted and we are going to see her perform. Stella also got the part she wanted in her play but her birthday is a week later so we are going for her birthday.  It is a lot of driving but you make sacrifices when it is your kids.

Alarms Sound After New Intel Released On Iran

According to Axios and Israeli military and intelligence sources, the Israelis were worried about the U.S. allowing Iran to have a “fielded nuclear weapon” after Gen. Mark Milley warned last week that the U.S. would not allow such a thing to happen.

Especially concerning to the officials was the word “fielded,” which they interpreted to mean that the United States had changed its stance towards Iran and would now allow Tehran to construct a nuclear weapons program.

The International Atomic Energy Agency reported at the end of February that Iran has 87.5 kilos of 60%-enriched uranium.

The Israelis also disputed Milley’s prediction of how long it would take Iran to produce a nuclear weapon. Authorities in Israel objected and questioned the veracity of Milley’s assertions, asking the Biden administration for clarification.

The Biden White House, together with its allies in the European Union and the State of Israel, recently considered a strategy that would show how worried the United States is about advancements in Iran’s nuclear program. If Iran freezes some components of its nuclear program under the terms of this deal, sanctions might be lifted.

Iran’s stockpile of uranium was capped at 300 kilograms (661 pounds) and its enrichment was limited to 3.67% under the terms of the nuclear accord it signed in 2015. The battle over Iran’s nuclear program has grown since the United States withdrew from the accord unilaterally in 2018. Iran has launched a series of attacks.

Nonproliferation experts have previously said that Iran has no civilian use for uranium enriched to a level of 60 percent purity, which is the level at which Iran has been enriching uranium.

IAEA data released on February 12 indicated that Iran’s uranium stockpile had grown to 3,760 kilograms (8,289 pounds), up 87.1 kilograms (192 pounds) from the country’s last quarterly report in November. Around 60% of the amount, or 87.5 kilograms (192 pounds), has been refined to a higher purity level.

As uranium at about 84% is almost near the weapons-grade threshold of 90%, Iran could simply use any stockpile to produce an atomic bomb if it so desired.

White House Press Secretary Gets Direct Question About Biden Indictment

According to reports, Peter Doocy of Fox News questioned Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House press secretary,  about ex-president Donald Trump’s indictment and arraignment.

Doocy asked the press secretary whether Trump’s surrender for his arraignment on Tuesday sparked concerns about President Joe Biden being prosecuted.

President Joe Biden was an attorney. Is he at all worried that a regional DA indicting a past president may, down the road, open the potential and create the precedence that local DAs who don’t like Biden could arrest him?

The press secretary said she would not comment.

Doocy questioned why she didn’t have more to remark about the indictment of Donald Trump.

When Doocy asked the press secretary if the Trump arraignment was a major concern for the United States, she said she declined to comment on a pending judicial matter.

Meanwhile, President Biden’s classified documents scandal continues with new findings.

According to a report, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) stated that Kathy Chung, a former assistant of President Biden, disproved White House assertions that boxes of classified documents found at Biden’s post-vice presidency DC office late last year were inside a locked closet.

Chung also disclosed the White House pursued to retrieve the papers quietly.

Kathy Chung went to speak with the panel, and according to a statement released by Comer, she revealed shocking evidence that discredits the Biden White House’s version of events.

Comer said the Committee discovered that when Joe Biden departed the vice presidency, he split his time between an office close to the White House, an office at the Penn Biden Center, and an office in Chinatown. The boxes included sensitive papers, vice presidential records, and other items.

As Biden’s term ended as vice president in 2017, the University of Pennsylvania established the Penn Biden Center.

Comer said the boxes weren’t hidden in a secure location at Penn Biden Center but were easily accessible to anybody working there or visiting the building. Anyone who had access to these papers needs to be identified.
