Escalation OPM Style. How Republicans Win. Illegitimacy? BLM Sides With Hamas.

Biden's infrastructure plan is like a man owns a steak restaurant and charges $500 for a 6 oz steak, potatoes, a teaspoon of rice, glass of water, salad and scoop of ice cream.

The customer says he will pay $50 and is called an obstructionist.

Back in those old days Dirksen said a trillion here and a trillion there and soon it runs into real money.  Oh, wait, that was a billion here and a billion there.  My how things escalate  when it is OPM time.

WHY DO REPUBLICANS WIN ELECTIONS?

Posted by Larry Horist

Why DO Republicans win elections?  That seems to be a reasonable question when you look at the numbers.  The American public is demographically 31 percent Democrat and 25 percent Republican.  That is a significant difference – about 20 million potential voters.  But the biggest voting group is neither.  Forty-one percent of us are non-affiliated – independents.  That leaves a few folks belonging to marginal third parties – Libertarian, Socialist, Green and even Communist.

There is a general assumption that the independents tend to lean Democrat when it comes to voting.  That narrative is perpetrated by the elitist media ad nauseum.  It is wishful thinking.  You know … trying to make it true by saying so.

If it were true, then Republicans would most certainly get trounced for elective offices up and down the ballot.  It would harken back to the 1930s when Democrats dominated virtually every major branch of government.  Republicans cannot win with out a sizeable chunk of the non-affiliated voters.

But every pollster caring enough to ask the right questions shows that the independent polarity is composed of a lot of “leaners” – folks who do not wish to join either party but have beliefs more in line with one or the other.  And at the core of the independents are those who switch back and forth between the parties.

BUT WHY DO THE SWITCH?

That should be obvious.  Since the independents are – by nature – not partisan loyalists, they select candidates who best represent their philosophic views –conservative or liberal.  They vote their beliefs.  And that is where it gets interesting.

It seems that most independents tend to favor conservative values.  So, they are inclined to vote with the Republicans more than not.  This is where the GOP closes the gap between the 102.3 million Democrats and the 82.5 million Republicans.

State elections can be concentrations of one-party voters.  That is why we talk about red states and blue states.  It is in the presidential elections where we see the GOP pick up independent voters.  If independents leaned left – as we are led to believe – there is no way a Republican candidate for president could even come close – not even close enough to win the Electoral College vote.

BECAUSE OF THE CONTROVERSY OVER THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, I SHALL ELIMINATE IT FROM THIS ANALYSIS.

You may have heard from media pundits and reporters that Republicans have not won a majority of the voters since President Reagan.  That is provably not true.  In fact, every winning Republican presidential candidate since 1960 has won with a majority of the vote.  The only exception on either side was President Clinton who won both of his elections with less than 50 percent of the vote.

We also must remember that going into the 2016 presidential election, the party with the lowest demographic membership – excluding the marginal parties – had control of two-thirds of the governorship and state legislatures, both house of Congress and thousands of state and local offices.

There was even pundit speculation at the time that should the Democrats lose the White House in 2016, they would be relegated to a regional bi-coastal party anchored in New York and California.  And the GOP took the White House with one of the most controversial and unlikely candidates since Abraham Lincoln.  Not bad for a party with allegedly no grassroots support.

ONE OF THE EXPLANATIONS WHY SO MANY CONSERVATIVE-ORIENTED INDIVIDUALS DO NOT BECOME REPUBLICANS IS THE CONSTANT DEMONIZATION REPUBLICANS GET FROM THE BIASED MEDIA.

Republicans – and especially conservative Republicans – are deemed to be heartless, racists, xenophobes, homophobes, misogynists, etc. in the grind of daily news narratives.  It is the values … the issues … that drive their vote.  So, they avoid the party label, but vote for the GOP candidates.  Some have labeled them the “silent majority” – or at least the majority makers.

That may also be true of those signed up as Democrats.  We know from past elections that there is a significant number of Democrats who hold conservative values – and cross party lines to vote those values.  They were once called the “Reagan Democrats,” and they helped propel the former Hollywood actor into the Oval Office.  They have been part of the Republican coalition since then – despite the best efforts of union leaders to keep their members in the donkey party.

In 2020, Republican candidates did far better than the media pundits predicted – and even the most Democrat media pundits are saying that the GOP favored to take back the House.

Trump is an important player in the future of the GOP.  He has a loyal following.  He needs to make sure they stay in the ranks of the GOP – along with those conservatives who make the issues the primary motivation.  That excludes the apostates who jumped ship because of Trump only to aid and abet the radical liberal democrats.  As far as I am concerned their Republican/conservative membership is cancelled.  When a soldier deserts to the other side, we do not call him a patriot.

So, what is the lesson to be learned?  It is the issues, Stupid.  If Republican candidates concentrate on mainstay conservative issues and the future – not personalities and the past – 2022 will be a great year for the Grand Old Party.

So, there ‘tis,

If not illegitimate probably among the most corrupt:

Most Illegitimate “President” in U.S. History? - Part Two

 By: Brit Speares

The Northwest Connection

This article does not favor one candidate over another; rather, this article favors a return to the U.S. Constitution — assuring that all Americans have the right to fair elections [ i.e., only one vote from each legal (living) voter. Period ].

In my May 4 Northwest Connection editorial, I described how the November 2020 presidential election is probably the most corrupt and fraudulent in U.S. history. It is highly plausible that — if only legal ballots were counted in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, Wisconsin, and New Hampshire — this would’ve given Trump a 298-240 Electoral College (EC) victory.

If the same were done in Arizona and Nevada, the result would be an even more convincing EC victory for Trump, 315-223. It was in these seven States where a lot of hanky-panky was going on — between the times “a vote was cast” and when the “official” ballot was recorded.

For Pennsylvania [1] and Michigan [2], recent voter audits by nonpartisan mathematicians determined that Trump had won both States by substantial margins of 370,000 and 150,000, respectively.

Will those other five States ever be analyzed with the same nonpartisan integrity? Only time will tell.

A “complete election analysis” includes: [a] voter audit, [b] machine audit, and [c] process audit.

● [a], this means “were all ballots legal, i.e., only from U.S citizens living in that State, voting only one time, and qualified and registered to vote?

● [b], “did each voting machine — used in each district — accurately record the intentions of each legal voter?

● [c], “between the time the vote was cast and the time that the vote was ‘officially registered’ — was each valid ballot honestly recorded?”

In all presidential elections since George Washington, a complete audit [i.e., a, b and c above] has never occurred in all States of the Union, nor have all three segments of an audit ever been carried out — even for one State. The recent analyses of Pennsylvania [1] and Michigan [2], described above, represent only [a] voter audits.

Let’s focus on Nevada, which has only six EC votes. To provide an example of the unbelievable amount of fraud, what follows is a synopsis of Attorney Jesse Binnall’s 16 Dec 2020 report [3] to the U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (just six weeks after the presidential election).

On 3 Aug 2020, Nevada legislators hurriedly made devious changes to the State’s election laws by adopting Bill AB 4; this provided for universal voting-by-mail without sufficient safeguards to authenticate voters (or ensure the fundamental requirement that only one ballot be recorded for each legally qualified voter).

Because of AB 4, the number of mail-in ballots exploded from ~70,000 in 2016 to more than 690,000 in 2020. From the nonpartisan data scientists, this is what Binnall’s voter audit found:

● Over 42,000 people voted more than once.

●  At least 1,500 dead people were recorded as voting.

●  More than 19,000 voters did not live in Nevada.

●  About 8,000 people voted from non-existent addresses.

●  Over 15,000 votes were cast from commercial or vacant addresses.

●  Almost 4,000 non-citizens also voted.

All in all, the nonpartisan inspection identified over 130,000 unique instances of voter fraud in Nevada — but the actual number is almost certainly higher. Two Clark County technical employees independently reported they saw “the number of votes recorded by voting machines and stored on USB drives” changed between the times the polls mysteriously shut down at night and when they reopened the next morning. In other words, votes were literally appearing and disappearing in the dead of night. Lastly, some persons were encouraged to vote by receiving rewards (e.g., raffle tickets, gift cards, televisions, etc.).

Incredibly, these 130,000+ people have been identified and their true addresses are known. Will any of them ever be brought to justice for election fraud? Heck, no. (By the way, Biden’s “margin of victory” in Nevada was 33,596; this report means that Trump’s margin of victory was actually more than 96,400.)

This scenario only summarizes Nevada; if you wish to read many other horror stories, check out ref. [4]. Will truthful voter audits ever be carried out in the other four suspect States? Not if the all-powerful Deep State can prevent that from happening. Clearly, the most successful-ever, bloodless coup d’état in a Western civilized democratic republic — occurred on November 3-4, 2020.

In grade school each morning, I remember standing together, “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands — one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” Have we irreversibly changed now to two tiers of “justice”? Are we now no better than any other banana republic?

Why Black Lives Matter Sides With Hamas Against Israel

Mike Gonzalez, a senior fellow at The Heritage Foundation, is a widely experienced international correspondent, commentator, and editor who has reported from Asia, Europe, and Latin America. He served in the George W. Bush administration, first at the Securities and Exchange Commission and then at the State Department, and is the author of the book "The Plot to Change America: How Identity Politics is Dividing the Land of the Free." Read his research.

Israel has become a deep gash for progressives. While the far-left wing falsely accuses the Jewish state of human rights violations, a dwindling, less irrational rump tries to hedge continued support for our democratic ally with restrictions limiting Israel’s ability to defend itself.

What some consider to be the fourth mini-war since 2008 between the state of Israel and Hamas started weeks ago when Hamas resumed lobbing missiles into nearby Israel.

Even though the U.S. State Department has designated Hamas as a terrorist group, it should surprise absolutely nobody that the main Black Lives Matter organization, a group founded and led by Marxists, is taking the side of Hamas in the current troubles.

The main BLM group, the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, supports a primary objective of Hamas: the annihilation of the Jewish state. On its official Twitter page, the group proclaimed:

Black Lives Matter stands in solidarity with Palestinians. We are a movement committed to ending settler colonialism in all forms and will continue to advocate for Palestinian liberation. (always have. And always will be). #freepalestine

The New York Post quickly reported on BLM’s support for the terrorists in the current conflict, pointing out there is nothing new in this. Virtually since its founding in July 2013, after the acquittal of George Zimmerman, the half-Peruvian man who shot Trayvon Martin, BLM has been anti-Israel.

Almost exactly two years after its founding, one of its three main founders, Patrisse Cullors, demonized Israel while touring the country.

“This is an apartheid state. We can’t deny that, and if we do deny it we are a part of the Zionist violence. There are two different systems here in occupied Palestine,” Cullors told Ebony Magazine. “Two completely different systems. Folks are unable to go to parts of their own country. Folks are barred from their own country.”

President Joe Biden spoke the truth when he said on Friday, “The United States fully supports Israel’s right to defend itself, against indiscriminate rocket attacks from Hamas, and other Gaza-based terrorist groups that have taken the lives of innocent civilians in Israel.”

The hard left of his party, however, agrees with BLM. Rep. Ilan Omar, a Muslim who represents a Minnesota district, joined with another Muslim, Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, and Rep. Andre Carson of Indiana to issue a statement saying that the “Israeli government plans to move forward with forced evictions in the predominantly Palestinian East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah” were “in direct violation of international law, the Geneva Convention, and basic human rights.”

This statement grotesquely twisted the facts—fanning the flames of antisemitism while in actuality denying the rights of Jews to lawfully possess property in their own homeland.

So we must ask: What about the long-standing Arab-Israeli government has made the American left, which has BLM at the forefront, take sides against one of America’s staunchest allies?

Some clues, though not all, can be found in BLM’s tweet.

By “settler colonialism,” the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation was alluding to a concept from global social theory, a subset of the critical theory that underpins all the woke movements.

According to globalsocialtheory.org, settler colonialism “is a distinct type of colonialism that functions through the replacement of indigenous populations with an invasive settler society that, over time, develops a distinctive identity and sovereignty. Settler colonial states include Canada, the United States, Australia, and South Africa, and settler colonial theory has been important to understanding conflicts in places like Israel, Kenya, and Argentina.”

As with many of these concepts, this one dissolves upon scrutiny. What makes Canada a settler colonial state, but keeps mostly white Argentina at length? Or why not Cuba, where the Spaniards almost completely replaced the Tainos they found in but a few decades? Or, for that matter, why not identify the Tainos themselves as a settler culture, since they replaced the Guanahatabeyes when they arrived from South America a couple of hundred years before the 1511 conquest of Cuba by Spain?

Are Anglo-Saxons a settler culture that pushed the native Celts west and north in the British Isles in the 400s? Or the Visigoths, who did the same to the Romanized Celt-Iberians of Spain around the same time period? Or, how about the Sudanese empire of Mali in the 1250s?

It seems that “settler state,” a term found everywhere in the BLM lexicon, just describes the entire world and its history of cruel invasions. And it is a particularly poor explainer of the founding of the Jewish state in the historic land of the Jews, on the heels of the Holocaust.

Anyone who has studied BLM (and I am publishing a book on this movement in September) will know that its animus is against Western culture, which it wants to dismantle—not the long history of invasion, of which it appears to know little.

The heart of the West is Christianity, and Judaism is at the heart of Christianity. Christ was a practicing Jew, as were Mary, Joseph, and likely all the apostles, who worshipped at the Jewish temple along with Jesus. Anyone who truly wants to dismantle the West, to “problematize” it in critical race theory lingo, will want to start there first.

Israel is not fighting the Palestinian National Authority in the West Bank; Israel’s battle today is with Hamas. By siding against Israel, BLM is siding with Hamas. Saying that has become as controversial as saying that BLM is Marxist, but only because the press corps is intent on covering for BLM. Both statements are true.

The reasons BLM takes the side of Hamas, however, may have little to do with postcolonialism, and much more to do with its desire to bring down the United States and the entire West.
