Over the last few days we have witnessed public policies that I find abhorrent. Not only did we see videos of the death of a handcuffed citizen whose civil rights were abused but this wanton act was  followed by tolerance of intolerance in the form of riots, looting's and outright anarchism. There is nothing cool  about setting fire to property.

First progressives tell us we should not protect our borders, then we should allow sanctuary cities and now we have shut down an entire nation because of failed health policies in New York and California. Welcome to the world of affirmative action and elimination of the electoral college.

I remember the time when Americans rejected the advice of Sen. Goldwater who  said:   "Extremism in Defense of Liberty is No VICE."

Now we seem to allow the law of the jungle to rule as we stand down in order to let rioters go beyond their constitutional rights to engage in peaceful protest. A few bad apples can/will destroy entire orchards.

If this is the republic we have become we may no longer be worth saving.
