There comes a time when Trump needs to step back, look in the mirror and listen to those who want to see him succeed because he is our president. If he can do that he will take to heart their advice about staying on message and being relevant. If that means less tweeting so be it and if that means being more disciplined then that is the course he should follow.
I understand his desire to speak directly to the people and avoid the mass media because they will never give him the time of day. There is a time and place for everything and now that he is president he needs to accept the fact that he is no longer campaigning. He has every right and should respond to those who attack and smear him, who lie about him and twist his words as if they were pretzels.
He does not have to become their punching bag. But neither should he become a wind bag.

By declaring himself our president and by withdrawing us from the Paris climate agreement, he triggered a tsunami of anguish from the globalist of the world. As a good businessman he looked at the bottom line, and concluded it is a very bad for America.

This was not a ratified treaty brought before the Congress of the United States, just another piece of the Obama liberal progressive economic agenda. And since Barack Obama unilaterally signed onto it, he’s no longer president, so it has been dismissed. Ya just gotta understand why Obama has decided to buy the house in Washington DC and stay there. He needs relevance and is watching his “legacy,” done mainly by executive action, be eradicated, and for good reason. I have to wonder, what will end up being in the Obama presidential library?
Perplexingly enough, Barack Obama released a statement on the withdrawal –no, he will not just go away:
“The nations that remain in the Paris agreement will be the nations that reap the benefits in jobs and industries created. I believe that the United States of America should be at the front of the pack. But in the absence of American leadership; even as this Administration joins a small handful of nations that reject the future; I am confident that our states, cities, and businesses will step up and do even more to lead the way, and help to protect for future generations the one planet that we’ve got.”
What’s amazing is how Obama never took a leadership role in the real fight for the future of generations against Islamic jihadism…where he led from behind. It appears that Obama is still Obama, choosing, based on an ideological agenda, what is vital and in the best interest of not the United States, but the global elites.
Here are the true facts about the Paris climate agreement:
– According to a study by NERA Consulting, meeting the Obama administration’s requirements in the Paris agreement would cost the US economy nearly $3 trillion over the next decades. By 2040, our economy would lose 6.5 million industrial sector jobs, to include some 3.1 million manufacturing jobs Our coal industry would be decimated, which Obama had as an intent, that provides some one-third of our electrical power.
– Obama committed $3 billion of US taxpayer funds to the Green Climate Fund which is 30 percent of the initial funding for this agreement, without Congressional authorization — talk about unconstitutional actions! In essence, the United States taxpayer is the one subsidizing the jobs and industrial growth of other nations…while we went from $10.67 trillion to $20 trillion of debt under Barack Obama.
– America, without the Kyoto protocol and the Paris agreement, has already reduced its carbon-dioxide emissions dramatically. Since 2006, CO2 emissions in America have declined by 12 percent, and are expected to continue to decline. The US is now a global leader in oil and gas production and we are indeed the Saudi Arabia of coal. And thanks to the hydraulic fracturing technology increasing our natural gas production, we are moving towards lessening those emissions…but the religion of the left despises fracking.
– Obama’s Paris agreement does nothing to the two major contributors to global climate change (assuming you believe that in the first place): China and India China does not have to comply until 2030, and India has made its participation in the Paris agreement contingent on billions of dollars being given to them in the form of subsidies.
President Trump’s money line in his withdrawal announcement was “I am the president of Pittsburgh, not Paris.”
Who cares what the global elites want by way of this massive wealth redistribution on the backs of the American taxpayer? And the bottom line is this, “according to researchers at MIT, if all member nations met their Paris agreement obligations, the impact on the climate is estimated to be a reduction of global temperature rise by less than .2 degrees Celsius in 2100.”
Yes, trillions of dollars from the American economy and the loss of millions of American jobs result in less than a 1 degree reduction in temperature 90 years from now. If you’re one of the progressive socialist leftists who worship at the altar of climate change and support the Paris agreement, well, you are sincerely a “special kind of stupid.”
And here is the obvious question, why not fight the real threat NOW, Islamic jihadism, and stop with the fighting the weather folly? After all, if the liberal progressives haven’t realized, God created climate change — winter, spring, summer, and fall. And y’all remember when the global leftists tried to scare us into believing the return of an Ice Age? Yes, back when I was growing up in Atlanta, it was global cooling — freaked us out down South.
What the progressive socialist left demonstrates is their ideological agenda and priority has nothing to do with restoring the American economy and boosting American employment. Their goal is to subjugate our Constitutional Republic to their like-minded liberal progressive friends, hence why the weakling Euros are upset, like French President Macron and Angela Merkel. After Middle East, Will Islamists Uproot Christians in Europe?

Catholic leaders in the Netherlands estimate that two-thirds of their 1,600 churches will be out of use in a decade, and that 700 Dutch Protestant churches will be closed within four years. The Church of England closes around 20 churches a year. The Catholic Church in Germany has closed about 515 churches over the last ten years. You find the same scenario everywhere in Europe.“I have often heard from Muslims that their goal is to conquer Europe with two weapons: their faith and their birthrate,” said the Maronite patriarch of Antioch, Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rai. “So when they come to Europe and see the empty churches, and find the unbelief of Europeans, they immediately think that they will fill that void”.This is one of the most tragic ironies of our time: that Christians in Europe, including Pope Francis, have a lot to learn from Christians in Egypt, Syria and Iraq.
