Will Elliott Abrams , our President Day Speaker, be tapped? (See 1 below.)
===
I have always said Waters was the black equivalent of Archie's dingbat wife, Edith, but I did not know he was a bigamist and had two wives.
When I mentioned this to a friend he reminded me that Edith had more class than either Waters or Pelosi.(See 2 below.)

1) Trump sizes up a critic for high-level State Department job
The president will sit down this week with Elliott Abrams, a neoconservative contender to be Rex Tillerson’s No. 2.
President Donald Trump is close to tapping a longtime critic as the No. 2 official at the State Department, a move that would reassure foreign policy elites worried about a lack of diplomatic expertise at high levels in Trump’s administration.
Trump will meet on Tuesday with Elliott Abrams, a former National Security Council and State Department official in the Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush administrations. Abrams is a neoconservative foreign policy insider with deep ties to an establishment that reviles Trump. He also regularly questioned during the presidential campaign whether the real estate mogul was qualified to be commander in chief.
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who favors Abrams for the job, will also attend the meeting.
Abrams’ appointment has been on hold for weeks as White House officials, led by chief strategist Steve Bannon, reviewed his past criticism of Trump to determine whether he could be trusted.
The last hurdle is whether Trump approves of Abrams when the men meet in person.
The decision will be a test of Trump’s willingness to accept members of the foreign policy establishment who opposed him. Pressure is rising on Trump to do so, as dozens of important foreign policy and national security jobs remain unfilled weeks after his inauguration.
The job is among the most important vacancies in the government, particularly given that Tillerson, a longtime ExxonMobil executive, comes to the 70,000-employee State Department with no prior government experience.

Dumb and Dumber: Maxine Waters says Putin Invaded ‘Korea’ while Nancy Pelosi ‘Can’t work with President Bush’ [VIDEO]
What a pair! Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi were at the House Democrats’ Monday morning press conference where Congresswoman Waters reiterated calls for President Trump’s impeachment.
She complained about the fact that the president was ‘wrapping his arms around Putin while Putin is continuing to advance into Korea‘ She was probably told that it was Crimea but she wouldn’t know the difference anyway.
Then it was Nancy Pelosi’s turn,
“While its only been a couple of weeks since the inauguration, we’ve seen nothing that I can work with President Bush on,”
The people behind her looked uncomfortable that she was talking about one of 2 presidents who hadn’t been in power for many years, but bless them, they didn’t have the heart to interrupt her.
Her mind hasn’t been working too well lately anyway as only a couple of days ago, she blamed President Trump for the war in Yemen; which started 2 years ago under President Obama’s watch.
Nancy Pelosi also appeared on Meet the Press with Chuck Todd on Sunday where he asked her,
“Does the Democratic Party need new leaders to touch base on this stuff?” referring to comments made by Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.), who in a speech over the weekend indicated her belief that Democratic leadership has lost touch with the current electorate.
“Whether it’s Hillary Clinton, yourself, Chuck Schumer—you’ve all been in power a long time and there was a rejection of that in the 2016 election.”
“We have plenty of room for all kinds of leadership at every level, but right now we need experience as well,” said Pelosi.
She said that she knew about being a “new leader.”
“I was a new leader when I emerged myself, so I’m all for that,”
With people like Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters leading the Democrats, the GOP shouldn’t have any concerns about staying in power for a long long time.
